The single-AA battery driver lights 0-5 feet (152cm) of NeonString wire. This unit has a side switch with constant on, off, or blink modes. (Powered by 1 self contained AAA battery, not included) (Does not include el wire.)

If you are tempted to get the 1-AAA driver, this driver is probably the better choice. It costs the same, is only slightly larger, and is slighly more powerful. (If you are lighting 3 feet for example, this one will light it more brightly than the 1-AAA driver would.)

As with ALL EL wire drivers, these EL wire drivers do make a high pitched hum. The loudness of it can depend on a number of factors, but no EL wire driver is completely silent.

While this driver can light up to 5 feet, the less wire you light with it, the brighter your NeonString will be. If you really need to light up 5 feet as brightly as possible, I would use the 2-AA battery driver which can light up to 15 feet.]
